ADDIE ~2.5 years old. Good with dogs. Kids and cats TBD. Needs a companion animal.

Addie was found as a stray and ended up at a shelter after animal control was asked to help capture her. She lived at the shelter for 2 months and was very shy and shut down. After leaving the shelter, she continued to stay shut down reluctant to trust human beings. She does warm up with my other dogs but is still very cautious and keeps her distance with people. In the last week she has warmed up and is beginning to approach and allow me to touch her.
She does fantastic on a leash and walk together at a local golf course every morning. She is house trained and loves going for rides. I think it will take some time and a patient family, but Addie will come around and she will make a wonderful family member. She is heartworm positive and will need treatment.
