HAVOC ~4 years old. Good with dogs. TBD if good with kids and cats.

GSRA adopts to residents of VA, NC, and SC only.

Single B&T GSD, 60 lbs., HW neg, and neutered (I don’t want to talk about it). ISO forever home live-in situation with one or more adult humans that are into PDA, long walks, playtime, belly rubs, and the occasional brewery hang. Must love fur.

Hey. How you doin’? My name is Havoc. Don’t let my compact size fool you…my foster dad says that I am a force of nature. The shelter I was sprung from said I’m five years old, but my stamina and activity level since I’ve been in my foster home is more like a teenager. I love playing with toys…especially balls, ropes, and Kongs. I can kill a stuffy dead in minutes. Gnawing on antlers is fun too. I have discriminating taste in treats: meat and cheese only. None of that artificial, meat-flavored stuff for me. I am crate trained even though I don’t love it and sometimes need some encouragement to go in. I’m not so secretly a velcro sheppie and really prefer to be near my humans as much as possible. My ideal forever home would have at least one human that was home most of the time. Commands? I can do those. I’ve been working on Sit, Paw, Off, and Down. While I would love to be the only dog in your life, I can share space with other dogs. I will admit to needing some help with learning to play nicely with and respect the boundaries of other dogs, but it’s just because I haven’t had much practice. Older, more experienced dogs who could teach me the ropes of pack behavior would be my preferred kind of sibling. My energy level and tail are too much for tiny humans, so I can only come to live with you if every two-legged in the house is 12 or older. I am not great with cats, but I promise that I’m trying. I don’t want to eat them. I really just want to chase and play with them, but foster dad says that they don’t like that and since I don’t like to take NO for an answer from someone smaller than me, it may be better that my forever home be feline free. I really like going for walks in the neighborhood or on trails, but foster dad says that I need to learn leash manners and work on my recall. Let me know if you think we’d be a match!

Havoc is full of potential and needs a home that will commit to basic training and obedience with him, as well as continued socialization. He is physically active and requires both exercise and a fenced yard so that he can romp and safely engage in play with humans and or other dogs.
