Meet Astrid!
There’s a lot of puppy in her still so you will have to be vigilant. Feet on the counter one time - corrected it. Hasn’t happened since. Nose in the trashcan one time - corrected it. Hasn’t happened again. Dragged out a shoe - corrected it. Dragged out another shoe - corrected it. Dragged out a third shoe - corrected it. Well, what girl doesn’t like a new pair of shoes? (Maybe we have some work to do.)
But seriously, Astrid is great for a young dog! She has a very sweet personality, and is a very kind and happy dog. She is very easily corrected. Walks beautifully on a leash and needs only the least correction to stop pulling. She’s wonderful in her crate and fully house trained. She would love to be on the couch, watching TV with you. If you’re working from home, she will sleep quietly under your feet.
Astrid enjoys chasing a ball but doesn’t know how to bring it back. She knows some basic commands and would really enjoy some formal training. She’s a smaller, calm and quiet dog, appropriate for an apartment and for someone looking for a laid-back dog. She doesn’t need a companion dog, but she gets along great with males and females. She seems to have low prey drive so will probably be OK with cats but that’s something the owner would have to work on. Crate trained and house trained. If you’re looking for an all-around Good Dog, Astrid might be the one!
