MERLIN ~8 months old. Good with dogs and older, considerate kids. Cats TBD. Needs companion animal.

We were asked to help sweet Merlin by the wonderful shelter staff, because he was completely shut down and terrified while there. He was named Merlin because he tried to disappear into the corner of his kennel. Fast forward a few weeks, and Merlin is learning to love life. He loves to play with his foster brothers and sisters, he loves splashing around in the water, he’s good with large and small dogs, male and female. He has a submissive personality. He would likely be OK with dog savvy cats but has not been tested to date. Merlin is a little shy but does warm up quickly. He will need a confident dog friend in his forever home. Merlin is calm and gentle and is somewhat of an old soul. Merlin is house and crate trained, an excellent car rider and learning to be a confident leash walker and will need a family committed to continue his socialization training.
