Hello world! My name is Kimber, and I am looking for a family of my very own! I am a beautiful, black and tan girl of about 4 to 5 years old! I am very affectionate and love attention from my people.
There is not a whole lot known about my past. I was picked up as a stray and I had a horrible skin infection and was missing a bunch of fur as well as a mass on one of my legs. Fortunately, a very nice vet at the local community college saw my potential and surgically removed the mass. As it turns out, it was a benign tumor, so all is good!
The vet reached out to GSRA to see if we could take her into our program. I’m a very lucky girl.
I am a very happy-go-lucky girl. I love to play with toys and I love to run around in the yard. I’m also calm in the house and go find a toy and get on my bed and just chill out. I am very food motivated and will sell my soul for a treat. I know a couple of commands, but I would like to learn more with a new owner who’s going to spend a lot of time with me. I am crate-trained and housebroken. I also ride well in the car and love going on little adventures. I am very smart, and I take a correction very easily. I love the tennis ball too!!
I do well with some dogs, although I am a bit selective. I am a rough player and a bit of a dominant girl so I would do best with a submissive, male, or a submissive female, who doesn’t mind a rough and tumble type of play. I like to play a little bit but mostly I like to just be near my people.
