Memphis is a sweet boy. He came from a family with four children and was neglected all his life. He was great with the children, but no one paid any attention to him. He spent his entire life as an outside dog, but always wanted to be inside with his family. Since we rescued him, he has been allowed inside with my husband and me, along with our two female German Shepherds. He already appears to be house trained and has had no accidents in the two weeks we have had him. He is well behaved and just wants to be given attention. He has bonded with me and follows me everywhere. He is also crate trained and spent quite a bit of time in his crate at his previous home. He is not aggressive. However, we are having to acclimate him to our goats, rabbits, and chickens. He gets extremely excited around them. He visited the vet on Sept. 13 and we updated his vaccinations. He is scheduled to be neutered in mid-October. Memphis would do well with a family with a child who is looking for a loyal companion or maybe someone retired who can work with him and give him the attention he so desires.
