German Shepherd Dog / Mixed (medium coat) : : Male (neutered) : : Senior
ANDERSON ~7 years old. Good with dogs. Kids and cats TBD. Anderson is a gorgeous German Shepherd mix male that seeks human attention and being loved. He is a quiet fellow once he settles in your house and feels “at home.” He enjoys taking naps in his soft bed but also loves going outside to walk and play. He is fairly an active dog and likes running around with you. He has a decent prey drive and will get super excited when he sees squirrels jumping around. But he will ignore them if his human asks him to walk gently. He is generally pumped when he meets other dogs his size and is eager to meet and play with them. However, he needs to be tested around other dogs and cats. Not much is known from Anderson’s past life. He was brought to the rescue when he was seven years old. Unfortunately, he is HW positive, and therefore his activity needs to be controlled while he is undergoing treatment. He is smart and learns training and commands quickly. He crate-trained, housebroken, knows commands like sit, down, and leave. He will learn any commands once you treat him.
