Cooper is an absolutely beautiful 3-year old German Shepherd we are fostering. He is a super sweet goober who loves toys, cuddles and car rides. He needs someone who has the time and energy to play with him and train him. He has amazing reflexes and would be great at frisbee with training. Would prefer to adopt to someone who has experience with this breed. He is house trained and doesn’t counter surf. He is crate trained, although sometimes he can be a bit stubborn about getting in. Cooper’s paperwork states he was surrendered because his family was moving. He was then adopted by a young man who lived an apartment who was not allowed to keep a dog of his size in their complex. He came to us underweight and heartworm positive. Cooper has gained 10 pounds in our care and is now healthy enough to be adopted- although he will need to continue his twice monthly slow kill heart worm treatment for the next year. This will consist of giving him his pill on the 1st and the 15th… super easy and inexpensive. Please consider Cooper for adoption! PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS NOT A GSRA DOG.
