Hi there, this is Link! He needs a new home due to no fault of his own! My husband and I are PCSing to Japan very soon, and we are not able to take him. I am unsure of how old he is, but I estimate he’s around a year or slightly older. This handsome boy came to me through a friend. He was dropped on her property, and after a week she could no longer keep him due to unforeseen circumstances. Link knows his basic commands such as: sit, stay, paw, “leave it”, and the words yes & no. This boy is a mix of calm and energetic. He would be a great dog to run with, as he is SUPER fast! He tends to be a little shy (cautious) at first, but will warm up to you quickly, especially with positive reinforcement (treats). Link likes men but LOVES women and children. He has not lived with children, but with that being said, he has been around all ages consistently. He walks pretty well on a leash, but has a tendency to pull, just from being so excited to be out! Medium energy, and a very “go-with-the-flow” kind of guy. Link loves to lay on the couch and relax, watch tv, or listening to music. As far as I know, he is not crate trained. I can leave him out in my living room and he does exceptionally well! He sometimes cannot be left in yard freely. MUST HAVE A STURDY FENCED IN YARD! The fence on my property is not strong, and link has either crawled under, jumped over, or shimmied in between the fence. I’ve been walking outside with him when he goes out, and he will stay in the yard as long as you keep your eye on him. Link does well with our two-year-old male (neutered) pug. He does not do well with males that are not fixed, and I do not know how he does around females (fixed or not). As far as I know he does not do well with cats. Link is an amazing boy! Contact me to meet him! PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS NOT A GSRA DOG. ONLY CONTACT THIS INDIVIDUAL ABOUT THIS DOG. THE CONTACT HAS NO AFFILIATION WITH GSRA AND GSRA CANNOT ANSWER QUESTIONS ABOUT THIS DOG.
