TYRONE ~ 3 months old. Good with older children and dogs Cats TBD. Must have a companion animal. GSRA adopts to residents of VA, NC, and SC only This adorable pup had a tough start in life. He was taken from his mother at 4 weeks due to a safety issue, he then spent several weeks with no other dogs in the home to learn from. But lucky for Tyrone the shelter he was surrendered to works closely with us and they issued an emergency plea and within 24 hours this guy was with one of our volunteers getting ready to restart his life. Tyrone appears to a normal happy puppy. People friendly (and being so cute EVERYONE wants to say hello). He sleeps through the night and generally has a dry crate in the morning. He is not potty trained while free roaming and will need someone committed to taking him out very frequently while he learns. Tyrone is very mouthy and those baby teeth are sharp. His leash walking is improving daily. He is currently living with large male and female dogs as well as a small dog. He is young enough to be trained to live with cats. He MUST have a companion dog in his forever home. A fenced yard is preferred - as he gains more endurance he is likely to be a high energy boy. He does well entertaining himself with toys/chew bones etc. but does not like being crated while he can see his humans. Tyrone loves to be outside playing with a stick or chewing on a pinecone. If you’re ready for some puppy love and don’t mind your hands being chewed, apply today. This guy will be very popular. PLEASE NOTE: It is GSRA policy that we do not adopt dogs under the age of 1 year to families with children under the age of 8 years old.
