What do you get when you mix a Labrador with a GSD? You get a Coco!! Coco is a perfect blend of GSD and Labrador. He is funny, energetic, smart, playful, eager to please and seems to have a great sense of humor. Coco was sent to the shelter after his former owner abused him and no longer wanted to care for him. At first, Coco was confused and scared at the shelter.

However, he soon realized that the shelter was full of kind humans who only wanted the best for him. At the shelter, Coco has learned how to walk on a leash like a gentleman, sit when asked to and wait before he is invited to come out of his kennel. While he has worked hard on his doggie manners, he still knows how to cut loose and have fun. He loves playing with people and is very friendly and engaging when meeting new doggie friends. He absolutely LOVES to be patted and is always quick to roll onto his back for some belly rubs. Since he is still a puppy (a one year old lab or GSD are pretty much still babies maturity-wise), he does have some growing up to do. He jumps and nips when he gets excited and for this reason we are recommending no small children in his forever home.

The perfect home for Coco would be one where the humans are experienced handling GSDs. Although Coco is a mix, he has many GSD tendencies as is the best version of himself when he is around people that know how to be kind, yet firm, leaders (his intelligence and lab playfulness can make him a bit of a handful to the unsuspecting person). Coco would love a home that is able to exercise him and get him out and about in the world to meet new people and experience new places. He loves to sniff and explore in the woods and so would make an awesome hiking buddy! Coco is not yet neutered but is heartworm negative and up to date on vaccines. He weighs a healthy 62lbs.

Any individual or rescue interested in meeting Coco can contact The Animal Protection Society of Caswell County at (336) 694-4921. If you are looking for a smart, playful energetic best friend, look no further than Coco!!

PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS NOT A GSRA DOG. ONLY CONTACT THIS INDIVIDUAL ABOUT THIS DOG. THE CONTACT HAS NO AFFILIATION WITH GSRA AND GSRA CANNOT ANSWER QUESTIONS ABOUT THIS DOG.
