We have a medium sized dog and Bandit used to come into our yard from time to time and wrestle and play with him. He would even come steal one of my kid’s toys and run off with it, playfully!

Just recently, we came across him and he did not look like that healthy, playful pup anymore and we knew something was wrong. He was malnourished with flaky, scaly skin on his back. Very skinny and obviously not being cared for. And on top of that, he has some sort of sore on his lip. So we took it upon ourselves to bring him inside our home and care for him, until we could find him a family & new home.

Bandit is used to roaming our neighborhood with a pack of 3 or more small dogs and some cats too! He is struggling a little with being inside and not being “free” to run wherever he wants and whenever. He is used to being the Alpha male and so is my dog, so Bandit has become a little possessive of me when I try to give attention to our other dog, but mostly they kind of avoid each other.

Bandit is around 10-12 months old, UTD on vaccinations & not neutered. He is super cuddly and sweet! He loves to sit on your feet and thinks he is a lap dog! He follows me everywhere I go in the house and likes to be around my 2 small children.

We would love to keep Bandit but it’s just not the best place for him right now. He needs to be away from this neighborhood (because he wants to run back to his pack every time we open the front door) and we don’t have a fenced yard.
