Looking for a guy who loves to go for a walk, ride in the car, and hang out at breweries but yet can curl up at your feet (preferably on the couch) at the end of the day? Look no further! Meet Teak! This 8 year old guy is solidly housebroken, can be left in or out of the crate, and won't chew your shoes. He gets along fantastically with male or female dogs and is very respectful but will offer play if they initiate. He is currently living with cats but sometimes gives chase so a cat free home is preferred.

Teak knows basic commands and is very willing to learn new things for a treat. He has been around very young children and is very gentle. He takes treats with a soft mouth and shares his toys willingly.

Teak came to us with severe skin and ear infections. This has been a chronic problem for him due to lack of flea control and basic ear care. Within a week of starting medication, flea/tick preventative, and medication for his ears he became a whole new dog. His skin looks fantastic and his fur is coming in soft and shiny. His ears still require medication but are improving daily. We suspect he will need 1-2x weekly ear cleanings and medication if flare ups occur. However, Teak is very easy to medicate. Even when his ears were very painful he was the perfect patient.

Teak would make the perfect addition to a pack but can also be someones one and only dog. He is extremely easy going and just a joy to be around. Teak may be well into his middle years but he has lot of love to give and deserves his forever family.

Special Needs: Teak will need lifelong management of his ears. Currently he is on once a day medication. Once medication is done I hope he will no longer need to be medicated daily but he will require twice weekly cleanings with special cleaner. He is very good for this treatment and even when his ears were very painful he would never bite or growl.
