HELLO WORLD!!!!!!! My name is Titan and I was born to love YOU!!!! Yep - that's right, I'm just a hunk 'a hunk of burning, puppy love! I'm 18 months old, I'm devishly handsome and when I smile, my tongue lolls out to the side. I hope you like that look because I smile a LOT! I love playing, running, jumping, hugging, running, jumping, riding, walking, running, jumping..... are you getting me?? I have a LOT of energy and sometimes I just can't keep it in and so jump with joy on anything and anyone close by. I have never met a stranger and I love all dogs!!! I even love cats, though they don't love me back. I don't let this get me down though - nope, Titan is a loving machine!! I know if I just keep licking them and putting their head in my mouth gently they will come around and realize I am just the best friend anyone could ever hope for.
Being a GSD, I am obviously smart as a whip, but sometimes my enthusiasm for life gets in the way and I forget to be a gentleman. I'm learning though - never you fear - but the lessons better continue after I have found my forever home or I will be like a bull in a china shop (Foster Mom's words, not mine!). I just LOVE little humans (children) and almost always remember to be gentle, but sometimes..... you know...all the love inside of me bubbles up and I just HAVE to jump and kiss them to let them know how awesome they are.
If I could choose my next home it would be with some humans who love to move as much as I do. We could go hiking, or walking, or cruising down the street to a cafe? I could go to obedience school and make my smarts even bigger than they are now. I'd love a big, fenced in yard, somewhere I could run and get all my wiggles out, because let me tell you, I've got some wiggles that need wiggling!
I'm pretty much perfect in every sense and I know you're going to love me but you have to be able to a) keep up with me and b) make sure I know what the rules are (Foster Mom made me put that bit in!). I'd just about BURST with happiness if I could have one or 2 other doggie friends in my forever home and, if I had a cat, I promise I would try not to slobber on them. I'd love to have smaller humans to play with, but I might get into less trouble if they weren't too, too small ( I don't think my heart could handle accidentally hurting someone!).
So what do you think?? Am I the boy for you? Wanna talk to my Foster Mom and see?
From Titan's Foster Mom: Titan is a typical young, exuberant boy who has a lot of love to give and a lot of energy to expend. He does well with small children and cats, but they can't be his only outlet for play...he'd never mean to hurt them, but he is a true boy - all rough and tumble! Titan has been diagnosed with a bone condition where he has some irregularities in his spin which gives his back a slight hump. His hips are also a little wonky. With life-long supplements, plenty of low-impact exercise to strengthen his muscles and a good diet to keep him lean he will live a perfectly normal life - though he may be predisposed to arthritis earlier than is normal in dogs his size and breed.
