My husband and I have come to the unfortunate conclusion that we need to re-home our 4-year old black German Shepard. We have hope in finding him a home who has the time and experience to work with him. Coal has lots of energy and love to give, loves to be outside, and is a beautiful dog. He's a good dog with just us but has unfortunately bitten 3 people-strangers or not. We know we haven't worked with him as we should and wish we had more time to spend with him. We believe he is has potential, but just needs the work and the time. He is great with frisby and playing ball. He knows the commands of sit, wait, lay down, shake left paw, shake right paw, and come. He listens better in a controlled environment with no distractions. He loves to chase squirrels, bugs, and birds. We're hoping we can find him a home that can give him a better regimen and environment that he deserves. He has been around our young nephew and has done fine but has lots of energy and requires constant attention/supervision. He has experience being around older dogs but hasn't had much socialization otherwise. Please contact us if you are seriously interested or have any questions. Thank you for your time!
