RAMBO ~2 years old. Good with older considerate children and dogs and dog savvy cats. Needs a companion animal. GSRA adopts to residents living in VA, NC, and SC
Hi my name is Rambo. I am a handsome young guy with plenty of energy. I was dropped off at a shelter by my family for no reason. But that’s okay, they were not nice to me and it has made me scared of quick hand movements. I am trying very hard to trust people, men are harder for me but in time with love and patience my bad memories will fade and be replaced by the joy and love I receive from my new family. I am good with big and small male and female dogs, dog savvy cats and older children. I can climb chain link fence and this trick is apparently not appreciated. I would love to sleep in your bed if you let me, but I’m OK sleeping on the floor next to you in my own bed. I’m also crate trained, but my foster’s think I’m some guy named “Houdini” because I have broken out of their wire crate a few times, even after they reinforced it, so now they have a heavy-duty crate that I cannot get out of. Do you have room in your heart and home for me?
More about RamboGood with Dogs, Good with Cats, Good with Older/Considerate Kids Only, Good with Adults, Needs special care, Needs a companion animal Special Needs: Rambo’s foster parents think he may have EPI (Endocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency), although he has not been tested yet. Reason is because Rambo had severe diarrhea for quite a while and even after feeding him only boiled chicken and rice for 1 week, the diarrhea remained. After his foster’s started to add a pancreatic enzyme supplement powder to his food with each meal his diarrhea stopped. If after being tested it is confirmed that Rambo has EPI, then the enzyme powder can be ordered online and costs approximately $150 for 2.2 LBS that will last for 3 months based upon 3-4 cups of food per day. There may be alternate supplements available at lower costs based upon Veterinarian recommendations. Current Scheduled Events:
