HARLEM ~3 months old. Good with older considerate children, dogs, and cats.  Good for seniors/elderly.

GSRA adopts to residents of VA, NC, and SC only

Clear the coffee table and all the low shelves of breakables! Harlem is in the house! This pup’s tail NEVER stops wagging! It wags when she eats; it wags when she runs; it wags when she sits; it wags when she asks for attention. It even wags for no reason at all!

This 4-month-old is full of puppy love! She’s a goofy little pup who loves toys and loves to run. When she gets all of her puppy energy out, she loves to cuddle or lay at your feet.

Harlem is a bit timid, so she’ll need someone who will take her out and about. She needs a few life experiences under her belt to build her confidence.

Harlem gets along well with other dogs but because most are bigger than her, they frighten her. A small, or low energy, or elderly dog is the best companion. She will also be fine as an only dog. She will do well with cats with a slow introduction. It is unknown how she reacts around children but she is a kind dog and the expectation is that she will be fine with dog-savvy children.

Harlem is crate trained. She is house trained and knows how to use a dog-door. Because she’s a bit timid and won’t know where ‘outside’ is, or how to tell you she needs to go out, she will have to be watched carefully the first few days.

If you’re ready for some goofy puppy love, Harlem is waiting to give it!

It is GSRA policy that we do not adopt dogs under the Age of 1 year to families with children under the age of 8 years old.
