I rescued Sam from a harsh living environment three years ago. She often had to fight for the food that was rarely provided. Because of that, she is food aggressive at times. I bought her an automatic dog food dispenser and that seemed to help a lot. She loves people and has no idea what personal space means. She will hop up on the sofa to cuddle or see what snack you’re having. She gets along well with my other shepherd but tends to get jealous when dogs she isn’t used to approach. I know it has a lot to do with her previous home. I can no longer keep her due to my new job and having to travel. I want her to have the best life possible and it would be selfish for me to keep her knowing I wouldn’t be able to give her the time and attention she needs. She was a blessing to me and came into my life at just the right time.
