PENNY ~3 years old.  Good with older considerate children and large dogs.  Cats TBD.  Not good with small dogs.

GSRA adopts to residents of VA, NC, and SC only

Hi my name is Penny and my favorite game is fetch. I love my chuck-it ball and will fetch it as many times as you want to throw it. I am very good at dropping it at your feet so that you will throw it again. I love to run and chase my foster sister, we have the best time trying to convince each other that our ball is the best. I like to splash around in the pond but am not much of a swimmer. I love to wrestle when I play and can be a bit rough but I take correction well, I’m just a girl that wants to have fun.

From Penny’s foster mom:

Penny is a typical bossy female gsd. She is funny and silly. She has high energy, extreme high ball drive, very intelligent. She would be a great running partner, and would excel at obedience or agility training. Penny likes to try and be in charge of her canine family members and will need a strong personality sibling to keep her in check. She is an excellent car rider, crate trained, house trained and walks well on leash. She is relatively quiet. Good with confident male and female large dogs. Not good with small dogs. Cats tbd. Good with older considerate children. Penny settles well in the evening and will happily chew on a horn/antler. A fenced yard is preferred due to her energy level.
