APOLLO ~2 years old.  Good with older considerate children and dogs.  Needs a companion animal.  Cats TBD.

GSRA adopts to residents of VA, NC, and SC only

Apollo is an adorable fun-loving goofy pup.  He is as sweet as he is handsome.  He loves everyone and I don’t think he has met a stranger. He loves to snuggle and be close to his family. This boy loves attention and can be a bit pushy for it but maybe his never had a lot before. :~(   He’s my shadow and follows me everywhere.  Apollo is a typical young dog; fun, playful and full of life. He loves going for walks, hikes, car rides or whatever adventure you have in store. I think he would also do well as a jogging/running partner.

Apollo loves playing with other dogs and has done well with my male & female dog.  He also has free roam 24/7 with the other pups and has done very well.

Apollo was found as a stray by a good Samaritan. He had a collar with a short tie-out fragment attached. He must have been an outside dog b/c the tips of his ears are gone due to fly bites.

Apollo still has some puppy in him so he will need someone who will continue to work with him. He's a little rough around the edges but won't take long to smooth them out. His loving personality makes it all worth it.  He still likes to jump on you when his excitement gets the best of him, :~) But we are working on it and he is getting better. He walks okay on a leash and knows some basic commands.  Apollo will do well with an active family. Because of his energy, he will do best in a home with a playful companion that loves to play and a fenced yard.

Apollo is heartworm positive but the rescue will take care of that.

So do you think this big boy might be the one for you?
