German Shepherd Dog : : Male (neutered)

Axel is an amazing GSD that will make an amazing pet. A neighbor was taking him to the shelter and I had to intervene. I can't keep him because I have cats. It was a hard decision to make, but I knew with the kitties, it wasn't fair to him or them. He is a typical GSD puppy where he needs to expend his energy, so a fenced yard is definitely preferred or an active couple that can take him for runs. He wants to counter surf right now, but with some training and patience, he is going to be a great pup. He is great with kids, does have a prey drive, so no cats, and does have some leash reactivity when I took him to Petsmart, so I am not sure how he is with other dogs yet, so for now, I'm going to say that he needs to be an only dog. He is neutered, microchipped and vaccines are up to date. I have all of his medical records. We are still putting some wash in his ears from an ear infection that was treated in November for antibiotics. So maybe just a wellness check with the vet to make sure that the ears are better is all he needs. He is a gorgeous GSD and my shadow. It breaks my heart, but I know there is a more appropriate home out there for him where he can be the best he can be. He is free to a good home with a small donation to GSRA so they can save more sheppies!
