Hello! My name is Sig & as you can see, I'm quite a handsome fella! After 5+ months in the shelter, I have been with my foster mom for a few weeks. She says I'm high energy & I tend to agree. I definitely need a forever home with someone who exercises regularly and is willing to take me on long walks, tennis ball expeditions (fancy wording for letting me run my heart out chasing tennis balls!) & any other exciting outdoor adventure where I can expend my energy. Do you have rollerblades? I think I'd really like that!! I love car rides and have good manners while in the car. I am also house and crate trained. My foster mom has been working with me on my manners and I'm really good and learn quick! My goal is to please you so I can get lots of love in return! You see, I'm a love muffin; give me belly rubs, chin scratches and affection and I'll be your best friend forever!

Oh, and before I forget, let me tell you that I can calm down quickly when we get back in the house. But I also like to do a little rough housing as well. : )

I'm quite the curious guy, I love taking notice of my surroundings and I am alert. My foster mommy says she thinks I will grow into being a good protector while in the house.

My mom says I need someone who has experience with dogs and is willing to be my alpha. I still need a bit of work when it comes to other dogs. And bunnies. And squirrels. Well, pretty much anything that temps me to chase it! I get SO excited when I see other dogs that I tend to forget my manners. So, I need you to be willing to work with me on this. At this time, I'd do best being the only fur baby in the house.
