Cleo is a fun loving girl who will light up your life. Cleo found herself in the shelter after some unfortunate events in her life but she did not let it slow her down. She loves to play! She will fetch whatever you throw all day long and never want to stop. Cleo does not need a companion animal but having someone for her to play with would help her to burn off some energy. If you are looking for a running or hiking buddy then she would be perfect for you. An active family would be great for her. Cleo has been around cats and small dogs but wants to play and doesn't always remember that she is larger so she could accidentally hurt them. My small dog is around 30 lbs and I would not recommend anything smaller. A dog savvy cat would be okay. If the cat runs Cleo will chase. Cleo is easily correctable and knows some basic commands. We are working on leash training and she is doing well with that. Cleo rides in the car very well and crates easily. She is heartworm negative. Cleo will need someone who can say no to her cute face because once she gets excited it can be difficult to get her to listen. Making sure that she gets enough exercise will help with this. Cleo is a really sweet girl who has a big personality. She will be a great addition to someone's family!
