German Shepherd Dog / Mixed (medium coat) : : Male (not neutered, but will be before adoption) : : Baby
DRAE ~12 weeks old. Good with older considerate children and dogs. Cats TBD. GSRA adopts to residents of VA, NC, and SC only Hi my name is Drae and my foster mom says I am a snuggly boy. I like to play with my sister and am getting brave enough to wrestle and play with the big dogs now. My most favorite thing to do is take a nap, especially if I can find someone's lap as a pillow. I would like to have a dog buddy in my forever home. Gotta go now, it's nap-o'clock. From Drae's foster mom: Drae is a food motivated young boy who has learned how to sit on command and wait at the door to be let in. He is learning to walk on leash and complete house training. He is good natured, playful and relatively calm for his age. Drae would do well with an older playful dog that he can continue to learn from. He is young enough to learn to live with cats. He currently lives with small and large dogs and does well will them all. Drae does not like the crate but sleeps throughout the night in a closed room with his sister. He will go right back to sleep after a quick potty break. Drae is gradually getting comfortable enough to engage in play with full grown shepherds but will still at times sit and watch what is going on rather than join in. Drae likes to explore in the back yard and will get distracted and wander away from the other dogs. Drae will make you smile constantly, he is the cutest little guy. Please note: Drae will not be placed in a home until at least 16 weeks of age. It is GSRA policy that we do not adopt dogs under the age of 1 year old to families with children under the age of 8 years old.
