PIPPEN ~6 months old. Good with dogs. Kids and cats TBD. GSRA adopts to residents of VA, NC, and SC only
I hope the world is ready to meet Pippen, because Pippen is most definitely ready to meet the world!!! Pippen is the youngest of the four dogs we brought in at the end of September from the West Virginia cruelty case, so we know his first few months of life can’t have been very pleasant. After being seized from the breeder situation he lived in the shelter for a few months while the court case played out; and now, finally, he is on his way to living the life that *every* dog should live. Pippen doesn’t know much about the world, so here is his basic approach to learning about it: Does it move? If it moves, will it pet me? (If so, get it to do this as long as possible.) If it won’t pet me, will it play with me? (If so, that’s fine, too; let’s play!) If it moves but won’t play with me, can I interact with it in another way? (Balls and any object you happen to drop on the floor fall into this category.) If it doesn’t move, can I eat it? If I can’t eat it, can I at least tear pieces off it? (Many, many things fall into this category.) In other words, Pippen is ALL puppy, ALL the time. He’s entertaining, endearing, very, very sweet, but also requires patience and guidance to help him become the wonderful adult dog I know he can be. Pippen has a tremendous amount of heart when chasing down his ball. If you have any interest in getting involved in dog sports or other dog training activities, I think he’d be an excellent dog to do this with—I’d love to see this be a part of his life. IT IS GSRA POLICY THAT WE DO NOT ADOPT DOGS UNDER THE AGE OF 1 YEAR TO FAMILIES WITH CHILDREN UNDER THE AGE OF 8 YEARS More about PippinGood with Dogs, Good with Adults, Leashtrained, Cratetrained, Playful, Eager To Please Current Scheduled Events:
