COWBOY ~2 years old.   Good with older considerate children and dogs.  Good for seniors/elderly.  Apartment appropriate.  Cats TBD.  Needs a companion animal.

GSRA Adopts to residents of VA, NC, and SC only

Cowboy is a super sweet boy who wants to share all his cuddles with you 24/7! He is approximately 2 years old, has the appetite of a hound both for food and attention, and plays well with others. He could do well as a solo or with a companion animal. He's more laid back than a "normal" shepherd and loves to take walks and explore smells outside.  His right front leg has a significant curve to it, hence the name "Cowboy".  It doesn't seem to bother him at all and he gets along just fine.  The vet believes that he may have been hit by a car at some point in the past which was never treated properly and resulted in the current shape.  The vet also believes that his is feeling no pain or discomfort, and other than an awkward walk he is A-OK.
So what do you say, do you think this handsome Cowboy could walk off into the sunset with you?
