Any and all of these words can be used to describe Charlotte!! Despite the fact that she came from a place that simply used her as a baby-making machine, Charlotte is the most wonderful, trusting, outgoing little lady you could ever hope to meet. She thrives in a home that is as energetic and as adventurous as she is. She loves the company of people but is also a playful member of her dog pack. Whether it's hanging out at home, romping in the backyard with her canine foster brother, or going for a hike with a stop along the way to grab a bite to eat at a cafe, Charlotte is your girl! She rides like an absolute champ in the car, is excellent on leash and is happy to either rest in her crate or lounge on the floor while you are gone. She has never chewed up anything she shouldn't and she has never had an accident in the house.

Charlotte needs a fenced in yard so she can run and play to her heart's content. Charlotte is more of a "follower" than a leader. She worships her older canine brother Romeo for his strong, wise pack leader ways. In contrast, she sees her younger brother Spider as a full on playmate - those 2 will wrestle and run around as long as you let them. Charlotte has met children as young as 2 years old while out socializing and has been very gentle with them. Charlotte would be the perfect dog to take to all sorts of school sporting events.

So far Charlotte has gotten along with all dogs she has met. She is probably better with male dogs but is living perfectly harmoniously with our gentle female GSD. The only thing Charlotte ISN'T good with is cats.

Charlotte would thrive in a home that can include her in as many activities as possible. She loves being out and about at restaurants and parks and handles herself beautifully in crowds. She is truly an all-round fantastic girl.

*** Since having Charlotte we have learned that she suffers from significant seasonal allergies starting in March. To control these allergies she takes apoquel and needs bathing regularly.***
