GYPSY ~1 year old.  Good with kids, dogs, and cats.

GSRA adopts to residents of VA, NC, and SC only

Greetings all! Miss Gypsy checking in! I am a super friendly girl looking for an active and adventurous family to join! Let me tell you a bit about myself! I am a young and petite sable. I am about a year old, and weigh about 45 pounds. I have the most adorable ears! They do not quite stand up. Sometimes they do, but most of the time they stick out to the sides like mini-helicopter blades. They are quite funny.

I was picked up as a stray, so not much is known about my past. I am not worried about that, all that counts now is my future! I am a very smart girl. I know how to sit, down, and can also give the paw! I am young and excitable, so I will need additional practice. I will do the commands, but not stay for more than a millisecond! (Foster mom says that I am just a bit to over eager!). I am a very energetic dog, and I love to run and play! I am very athletic, and would probably be a great companion for someone who needs a running partner or want to have a dog for agility training. I love the tennis ball, and am also very food motivated.

I love attention, and am eager to please! I am very adaptable, and like a structured environment. I am housebroken and crate trained.

I love to play with other dogs, but will need a companion that is comfortable with a high energy, rough and tumble player. My foster mom says that I play like a linebacker! I am very enthusiastic, and apparently some dogs do not care for my socially awkward antics. (My foster brother in the pics gets along with me wonderfully).

From foster mom:

Gypsy is a diamond in the rough. She is a fantastic girl that needs a family committed to continuing her training and giving her a job/activity on a regular basis to help her become an even better girl. She is eager to learn. She gets a bit excited and barky when meeting new dogs....she just wants to play! She is a super sweet girl, and will make a great companion for some lucky family. She is great with men, women, and children. Gypsy will be a great family dog! She is a friendly and confident girl who just wants attention. She is just a little party started! Gypsy willl not get much bigger, and will probably be 45-50 pounds when she fills out.

A fenced yard is preferred as Gypsy LOVES to run and play!

Come meet this adorable girl soon, you will not be disappointed.
