KINLEY ~1.5 years old.  Good with older considerate children and dogs.  Cats TBD.

GSRA Adopts to residents of VA, NC, and SC.

Kinley is a lovely young lady who was an owner surrender to the Onslow County Animal Shelter......very, very pregnant.....and at the end of the year (I suppose the former owner wasn't interested in the child tax credit for year 2016.) Kinley gave birth shortly after being surrendered; in due time the pups were weaned and found homes. Now Kinley has entered GSRA for her turn at the good life.

She is an active, happy, and very loving 1.5 year old most likely Belgian Malinois. This girl thrives on attention and being in the presence of her people. You will not be alone in anything you do; she has watched me so closely she can show you how to load a dishwasher, fold a fitted sheet, and use an electric toothbrush. She has an interest in everything you do. If you like your alone time, she is not your girl.

She is semi crate trained. She's in the crate while I'm home, and an escape artist when I try to leave the house with her in it. We are teaching her the crate is her safe place by feeding her in it and having her stay in it while we're home. When I'm gone, I do leave her out of the crate; this avoids the escape and possible injury while I'm gone. When I leave I have to Kinley-proof the house by closing off the bedroom, she'll jump on the bed; closing off the bathroom, shell nose through the trash and relocate the bath rug; now I've learned to put away the remote, she will change the channel to daytime soaps or reality tv, which are not informative like a 24 hour news channel. She is current on the state of the union and foreign affairs. (i.e., she chewed the remote)

These are antics of a young pup learning the ropes, it is to be expected and will continue until she is kindly taught how to behave. She is very motivated to please her caretaker. Your praise and consistency will propel her forward . She is seeking a patient home, gentle guidance, a routine, and your love. You love is key, she is very loving with kisses, leaning into you, and wants to be where you are, she likes the furniture and would love the option of sleeping with you. She is very active, she enjoys daily walks; and if I ran, I think she would like that, too. Loves to play with balls, she likes to have it thrown and will retrieve it for you to throw again.
