Foster Diary

Hi my name is Lexi. My foster parents had to call me by this name quite a few times because I didn't even know what my name was! I am getting used to the good life. I still have to be reminded that it is not cool to chase my foster parent's cats around the house especially the orange one. I am a total love bug. I love playing with my older foster brother. We play outside with the tennis ball and give good chase to each other. Once I was received into my foster home, my parents crated me in order to get me house broken. I impressed them with my skills and now I have been giving a little more freedom.

I love to go riding in the car and I walk well beside my brother when we go out for walks. I just got a new rope toy that I drag around the house, its so great! Now, that I have a bit more freedom, I'm showing my parents what a good girl I can be by being calm and lying down next to my big brother. I hardly ever bark in the house, except when I'm playing around. Life here is pretty good, but I look forward to getting to my forever home!

Foster notes:
Lexi is a great blk/tan girl. I'd estimate she's about 55-60 lbs. and about 1.5 years old. She was negative for heartworms. She is a bundle of energy and she is curious of cats. I think with a little work she would be great with cats. Lexi has not seen any children so we have yet to determine her behavior around them. She gets along well with our Aussie Clyde. So, she would do well with other dogs with proper introduction of course. She loves to come up to you and just fall into your lap to be petted. She is housebroken and she loves to please. She truly deserves a special home with a loving family.
